Arkana Motel

I was treated like one of the family here. Very friendly and was able to book at 9pm and easily check in after I finished my shift with my company. They are in the process of refurbing but rooms are what youd expect at $140. You still get tea coffee and biscuits. How many places give you biscuits these days? How ever the rooms are clean and comfortable. Nothing noteworthy happened after dark and is generally quiet like every other place in town. Id stay again as its the best place to check in easily without hassle of being interrogated like all the other place. When Im tired, all i want to do is hit the hay.

I can't speak highly enough about my recent stay at Arkana Motel Maryborough. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine warmth and professionalism by the staff, who went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcome and comfortable throughout my stay. The first thing I noticed was how spotlessly clean everything was – from the reception area to the rooms themselves. The attention to detail in the housekeeping was second to none. My room was pristine, with fresh linen, sparkling bathroom surfaces, and not a speck of dust in sight. It’s clear that cleanliness is a top priority here, and it made for a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. The staff were an absolute standout – friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile or a recommendation for local attractions and dining. They created a welcoming environment that really sets this motel apart. If you're looking for a place that values cleanliness, comfort, and exceptional service, Arkana Motel is the perfect choice. I’ll definitely be staying here again the next time I’m in Maryborough! The other thing is, most motels in the area treat you like you're a criminal before you step in the door wanting to know why you're there or why youre in their town - this place does not. They have a you beaut automated check in system where you don't need to be questioned like you've don't something wrong.

From booking to check-in the process was smooth. Check-in using digital pins is convenient and quick with no fuss and allows for arrival after hours without having to race the clock. Room was is clean condition. Bed was decent. I found it just an all round good country motel.

Excellent base for my work week

I suggest this is the place to stay if you have a large vehicle. Carpark is huge and we could even fit our trailer. I'm surprised, whilst an older style motel, like all in this area, it's exceptionally well looked after and spotless. Any accommodation under $200 these days is ridiculously cheap and this place fits the bill. Rooms range from $130-170 AUD and in my opinion that's a winner any day of the week. Even the people in the neighbouring rooms were so nice.
